  Why ex-JW's so knowledgeable when it comes to the Bible?

  over the years here on this site i have found over half of the folks can hold their own with any minister.. why when we leave the borg we become proficient on any subject on the bible.. why did we go down that road?

  my intention was to get close to jehovah (searching the bible), but i. guess i found lucifer.

  i'am ask all the time, how did you go from a true believer to calling the bible a book.

  On another topic someone mention, JW's turn out more atheist than any other religion.Why?

  I guess to become an atheist you must know the Bible.

  all us creationists try to do is offer true evidence that the one and only god is out there watching and looking down on us.

  we present that certain scientists know the truth about god and that he is everything that we see from trees, life, weather, the air we breath, and even the most simple molecules.

  but of course you atheists reject it because it is your nature to not be humble and see god because you want to rule your own life.

  Hope: why not pray for us? Oh wait that may not work, because he wants us to make

  choices for ourselves, for him to then intervene, override a person free choice and change

  the course of our lives by compelling a specific action or mental state would be a violation

  of his own plan. Conversely, in a universe where there is predestination, God will have

  already planned out every person's life ahead of time anyway, efforts to change the course

  of events through prayer will be futile. So you can not pray for us, make sense?

  How can one read the Bible and not believe it is BS, from the first book to the last.

  God created man 6000-7000 years ago, are you serious.... i'am less judgmental and

  feel more in touch with humanity. Religion create division that's the bottom line.

  Spanish-language mosque, the city is poised to become a center of Hispanic Muslim teaching.

  By some estimation as many as 300000 Latinos follow Prophet Muhammad's teaching.

  The brand ambassador for Islam in Spanish Miss Morales said, she attended Mormon, Baptist and

  Jehovah's Witness services and then she bought a Quran and the rest is history.

  the olympic games are rooted in greek religion.

  they were born as a religious festival to honor zeus, supreme among the greek gods.

  usa athletes..gold-$25.000 , silver-$15.000, bronze $10.000.

  singapore athletes..gold $741000, silver $371000, bronze $185000.

  unless your m.phelps you don't earn enough.. what is wrong with this picture?

  The games of ancient Greece are alluded to many times especially in Paul's epistles. They

  are not endorsed by scripture, because they were, and still are, utterly pagan, and devoted to demons,

  so no JW should be watching the games.LOL

  Paul spent much of his ministry on he Corinthian Isthmus where Greeks held the Isthmian games.

  He, and the young church would have been familiar with the cycles of the Greek games.

  There's no doubt that his metaphorical reference to competitive running, and boxing referred to

  the Greek games composing the olympics.

  So in other words if you are talking with JW family members and they are watching the Olympics, inform

  them it's pagan. Damn another pagan thing, no fun being a JW.
